My tombstone focuses on insecurities and how they can shape our growth. I live in a society filled with restrictions and guidelines telling me what is correct or what I need to do. I get caught up in following society, afraid to be judged. I don’t realize that breaking the norms and being confident in myself is what makes me different. I need to admire individuality and realize that my success begins one step outside of my comfort zone.
The tree signifies structure, and the ability to grow when standing your ground. The abstract form is for each to interpret. Although we all continue to grow together, the insecurities holding us back will differ per individual. People will leave their self doubt behind and learn to overcome their inner demons.
